The ability to infiltrate another player’s game through the “Invasion” mechanism is a new feature. In a player’s single-player experience, invading players have the ability to band together and spawn as adversaries.[1] Demons who have slain a player in another adventure will now show up in the player’s campaign thanks to a new feature called “enhanced demons.” Despite being more powerful than usual, these demons provide superior drops upon defeat. Soon, shortly after the release of Doom, there will be an invasion. Now that it has a shoulder cannon akin to a cooldown, the Doom Slayer can fire grenades or bursts of flame without pausing assaults. A new melee attack called Blood Punch is also available to the Slayer.
